George Economou has been actively involved in the shipping industry since 1976. After graduating from MIT in 1976 with a B.A. and an M.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and an M.S. in Shipping and Shipbuilding Management he worked for a number of established Greek shipping companies, both in Greece and the United States.
